About The Position
R+L Carriers has an immediate need for a Maintenance Shop Foreman at their Georgetown, KY. Service Center. This full-time position involves performing preventative and day-to-day maintenance and repair on heavy-duty tractors, trailers, and forklifts, along with administrative duties. The role operates Monday through Friday with various shifts.
Requirements
- Performs the preventative and day-to-day maintenance and repair on heavy-duty tractors, trailers and forklifts
- Perform day-to-day administrative duties
- All repairs and major repairs on trucks and forklifts
- Truck, forklift and dry van trailer experience would be a mandatory
- Experience with air brakes, clutches, electrical repairs PM's, lift-gates, overhead door repair, etc.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of tractor/trailers (air brakes, clutches, diesel engines, lights and electrical repairs)
- Must have own tools
Nice To Haves
- Mechanic experience would be a plus
- Manager experience would be a plus
