Maintenance Service Person
About The Position
Work with Maintenance Supervisor and/or Facility Manager to establish a program to eliminate downtime in trouble areas. Repair production equipment safely and as quickly as possible after a breakdown Work on assigned projects Fabricate and install new equipment Maintain machinery according to Preventative Maintenance Program Troubleshoot equipment Utilize safe work habits Wear appropriate PPE Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent; technical training/education is a plus
- Background in fabrication, mechanical and electrical repair with use of shop tools
- Forklift license
- Ability to work overtime and rotating shift work as required
- Standing up to 12 hours daily
- Walking up to 12 hours daily
- Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily
- Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily
- Lifting weights up to 45 lbs. regularly
- Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily
- Travel less than 10%
