About The Position

Kendall Ford of Wasilla is one of the largest family owned and operated dealers in the Pacific Northwest and premier employer in Alaska. We are looking for a Janitor/Maintenance personnel member to join our team. The successful candidate will keep our facility clean, sanitized, and customer ready. This position has limited supervision, we are looking for candidates who are driven and we can trust will stay on task. Pay for this position is $18.00/hourly. The schedule is 7am to 4pm M-F. To be considered for this position you must have experience in commercial cleaning, superior attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. In this position you will perform a variety of semi-skilled tasks throughout the dealership and surrounding property. Duties will include but are not limited to maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for staff and customers, stocking all paper products, regularly cleaning all facility restrooms, emptying trash bins that are located throughout the dealership, using a carpet cleaner and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and products. Cleaning supplies and products will be provided. Plumbing maintenance to include unclogging toilets/urinals and sinks, fixing water leads and repairing water fountains. this job role also assists Kendall HR with safety compliance-monthly inspections of fire extinguishers, eye wash stations first aid kits and overall compliance in shop area. This position requires lifting up to 20lbs occasionally and rarely up to 50lbs, carrying up to 40lbs for a distance up to 200ft, bending, twisting or reaching frequently at times above shoulder height, pushing or pulling occasionally and climbing or use of a step stool/step ladder rarely. Requirements
