We have an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Scheduler for its Concrete Block Operations located in Orlando, FL Position Scope: The Maintenance Scheduler will support all policies, goals and objectives of the company, and will represent the company in a knowledgeable and professional manner. The position is responsible for maintaining production equipment availability and performance at satisfactory levels through the planning, scheduling, coordinating and reporting of repair activities.

Requirements

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Mechanical/electrical background is necessary.
• Apprenticeship program or technical school background is desirable.
• Have adequate craft knowledge and skill to accurately estimate labor hours, material requirement and skills needed to complete a job.
• Must have a demonstrated ability to visualize and communicate the execution of work.
• Should have good written and verbal communications skills and have demonstrated the ability to be approachable and tactful.
• Good math and computer skills.
• Demonstrated organizational and planning skills.
• Demonstrated ability to provide simple and accurate instructions.
• Demonstrated ability to read standard blueprints, machine and process drawings.
• Have the ability to sketch or redline existing drawings.
• Knowledgeable of maintenance processes and proper use of the work order system, planning and scheduling and storeroom processes.
• Manage multiple priorities or projects simultaneously and keep them progressing to completion.
• Project management experience with intermediate or expert level knowledge of MS Office Project.

Responsibilities

• Use SAP to develop a daily work schedule to secure adequate resources to complete preventative, predictive, and planned maintenance.
• Audit assignments and resources to ensure repair schedules and performance expectations are met. This includes maintenance and operations staff, materials, documents, work orders, change orders, and necessary approvals to perform work as planned.
• Responsible to maintain all plant equipment records in SAP, and that all maintenance work including planned and unplanned work is scheduled through SAP.
• Ensure all labor hours, materials, and necessary notes or procedural changes associated with the work are accurately recorded, and work is closed in a timely manner.
• Communicates directly with managers regarding parts required and inventory levels needed to complete all scheduled Work Orders and PM Orders.
• Manage and schedule maintenance activities such as inspections, instrument calibrations, and equipment preventive maintenance and validation assessments along with coordinating project workload.
• Responsible for notifying supervisor of any problems or issues with inventory, planning and scheduling.
