About The Position

SUMMARY Responsible for assessing upcoming maintenance needs, communicating downtime requirements to the Maintenance Coordinator, balancing workload across multiple shifts, and managing work requests. Additionally, the role involves overseeing the timely calibration of equipment and ensuring that all necessary parts are kitted for each work order. The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance overall maintenance productivity. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Schedule routine maintenance tasks for technicians, considering optimal timing and resource allocation. Proactively plan maintenance activities at least 2+ weeks in advance, communicating downtime requirements to the Maintenance Coordinator. Balance workload across multiple shifts, working closely with supervisors to ensure equitable distribution of tasks. Coordinate and schedule follow-up work based on completed maintenance tasks and manage incoming work requests. Monitor and manage past-due maintenance work, rescheduling tasks as necessary to prevent delays. Collaborate with inventory management to kit and organize required parts for each work order. Develop and maintain a schedule for equipment calibrations, coordinating with calibration teams for timely execution. Food Safety Responsible and required to notify management about actual or potential food safety issues; and empowered to act to resolve food safety issues within their scope of work. If this position is vacant for any significant period of time the obligation for completion of all food safety and quality related tasks will become the responsibility of the direct manager or a qualified designee. High frequency of keyboarding/computer work required (75% of the workday). Education: High school diploma or equivalent required along with additional related education / training. Previous experience in maintenance scheduling or a related field. Proficiency in maintenance planning software/tools.
