About The Position

Maintenance Repair Technician We are looking for a Maintenance Repair Technician to join our Wellington, KS shot peening facility! As our Maintenance Repair Technician, you will work closely with the Maintenance Engineer to ensure machines are running at optimal performance. This is a great role for an individual with some maintenance and fabrication (welding) experience who wishes to expand their knowledge, particularly in preventative maintenance. Location: Wellington, KS Shift: Monday-Friday first shift Hourly Rate: $25-$30/hour Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline only, reflecting a position based in CT. Requirements

  • Experience constructing and /or repairing industrial machines
  • Experience aligning machines and equipment, using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, lasers, and plumb bobs.
  • Experience repairing and lubricating machinery and equipment.
  • Basic Electrical knowledge and machine trouble shooting skills.
  • Welding experience.
  • 2 + years of maintenance experience

Responsibilities

  • Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
  • Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
  • Follow instructions and read blueprints.
  • Safely work at heights.
  • Use logical step-by-step procedures in work.
  • Plan work and solve problems.
  • Make decisions based on measurable information.
  • Perform a variety of duties which may change often; and operate machinery.
  • Repair pumps, large conveying augers, dust collectors, blast rooms.
  • Assemble machinery and bolts, welds, rivets, or otherwise fastens them to foundation or other structures, using hand tools and power tools.
  • May operate engine lathe or milling machine to grind, file, and turn machine parts to dimensional specifications.
