Installs repairs and performs routine maintenance on all plant equipment and systems. Develops a Preventative Maintenance system and performs or schedules all PM work on equipment.

  • Support a philosophy of zero accidents by following all applicable safety procedures and maintaining equipment to operate in the safest way possible
  • Maintain all plant equipment including but not limited to manufacturing equipment, forklifts, cranes, paint systems, electrical systems, welders and company vehicles
  • Develop and maintain PM schedules for all applicable equipment
  • Coordinate all plant maintenance with plant management
  • Support Manufacturing Engineering on improvement projects
  • Support the efforts of Lean and Continuous Improvement teams
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and rules.
  • Create and maintain a safe and sanitary working environment.
  • Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Flexibility to work hours necessary to meet plant requirement
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
  • 5-7 years of related work experience as a Maintenance Technician/Mechanic in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Good verbal communication.
  • Ability to read and use tape measure accuracy
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area (50 miles) of facility location will be considered.
  • Ability to stand, sit and/or walk on a hard surface as well as safely bend, stoop, reach, climb steps and use ladder.
  • Ability to reach overhead; have full range of mobility in upper and lower body
  • Repeat various motions with the wrists, hands and fingers
  • Ability to work in different environment working conditions (heat, cold, rain and humidity)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds following safety procedures.
  • Vision abilities required: close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Possess excellent communication skills oral and written
  • Possess strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Capable of effectively representing Cimarron Energy in professional settings
  • Capable of working effectively both in an independent / self-directed and within a team
  • Must be able to multi task and establish priorities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and other applicable QM control
