About The Position

As an R&M Technician at Weatherford, you'll perform hands-on inspection, repair, and maintenance of field tools to ensure they're ready for their next assignment. You'll work with specialized equipment and follow technical procedures throughout the entire process, from receiving tools to dismantling, repairing, and refurbishing them according to company standards. Requirements

• Basic mathematics and computer skills
• Ability to work with hazardous materials, radioactive elements, and explosives
• Critical thinking and complex problem-solving abilities
• Strong time management and quality control analysis skills
• Effective reading, writing, and communication abilities
• Physical capability to perform required maintenance tasks
• Ability to operate tools and machinery efficiently
• High School Diploma
• 2-4+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry
• Basic computer proficiency

Nice To Haves

• Experience with NDT, NDE, and ATEX principles
• Equipment troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Certifications for operating lifting equipment, forklifts, and cranes
• Experience with maintenance management systems

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest standards of safety, security, and compliance with company policies
• Inspect, repair, and maintain field equipment using technical manuals and procedures
• Operate tools and lifting equipment including forklifts and cranes for safe movement of equipment
• Use precision measuring instruments and testing devices to inspect parts and determine requirements
• Complete accurate documentation for maintenance activities and work orders
• Process incoming shipments and prepare outgoing shipments with proper documentation
• Participate in daily operations meetings, safety briefings, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain equipment, facilities, and work areas in safe, presentable condition
