Maintenance and Renovation Technicians Needed
About The Position
Maintenance & Renovation Technician Location: Pittsburgh, PA Join Riva Ridge Real Estate Services and make an impact! Our technicians keep residential and commercial properties in top shape, handling repairs, maintenance, and renovations. If you’re hands-on, detail-oriented, and love problem-solving, we want you on our team! What You’ll Do Renovation Projects Assist with demolition, construction, and finishing tasks. Follow plans and instructions from renovation leads or supervisors. Maintenance & Repairs Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Conduct routine and preventative maintenance to keep properties in excellent condition. Carpentry & Construction Frame, install drywall, paint, and finish spaces. Install flooring, cabinetry, and fixtures. Support both minor and major renovation tasks. Plumbing & Electrical Work Install and repair plumbing systems (fixtures, pipes, water heaters). Perform basic electrical work (outlets, switches, lighting). General Labor & Safety Load/unload materials, maintain clean and organized work areas. Ensure tools and equipment are in good working order. Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Experience in maintenance or construction a plus—but not required!
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize, manage time, and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to adapt to emergencies, weather, and changing tasks.
Responsibilities
