Why Join Us | DuPont Careers DuPont is seeking a Maintenance Planner to join its manufacturing facility in Edina, MN. The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning maintenance activities across fabrication departments, site facilities, and HVAC systems. This role develops detailed job plans from work order scopes and coordinates the execution of maintenance and equipment overhauls, ensuring efficiency, safety, and technical accuracy.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, fabrication, or aircraft environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment
  • Ability to bend, reach, lift, climb, and work in confined spaces as required
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods

Nice To Haves

  • Four (4) years in a fabrication/operations lead role
  • Experience developing maintenance job plans and coordinating maintenance teams
  • SAP experience

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize job plans using archived plans and feedback from maintenance personnel
  • Review work orders for technical completeness and coordinate corrections as needed
  • Conduct field checks when required to validate job scope
  • Prepare and input job packages into SAP, including labor, materials, and service requirements
  • Identify required tasks, materials, tools, equipment, and safety controls
  • Coordinate with crafts, reliability engineering, and other stakeholders on complex jobs including contractors acting as field contract administrator.
  • Ensure compliance with the Maintenance Procedure Use Policy, including procedure identification, review, and creation
  • Archive repetitive job plans and apply best practices for constructability, maintainability, and cost effectiveness
  • Utilize approved maintenance systems and technologies, including planning, scheduling, and purchasing tools
  • Apply Critical Path Methodology and cost/time estimation techniques
  • Manage multiple priorities while maintaining safety and quality standards
