About The Position

The Role: Entegris is currently seeking a Maintenance Planner for our Decatur, TX facility. The Maintenance Planner is a critical role in the site maintenance work management process and is focused on ensuring that the maintenance team is working on the right things at the right time. The role is responsible for developing and managing detailed maintenance plans, as well as enabling the maintenance team to have the materials and tools needed to do the job safely and efficiently. What You’ll Do: Develop detailed plans for maintenance activities, including scope, labor estimates, materials, tools, and special equipment and access requirements. Collaborate with operations, engineering, maintenance and procurement teams to ensure smooth execution of maintenance plans. Work closely with Maintenance Coordinator to manage an assigned backlog of maintenance work in a way that ensures that business priorities are met. Identify opportunities to reduce downtime and improve cost efficiency through effective planning. Ensure parts and materials are planned, kitted, and readily available for maintenance team Maintain spare parts safety stock values and storage areas. Review closed work orders to identify changes or improvements needed to existing maintenance plans. Actively maintain CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) with changes to preventive maintenance frequency, job plans, bill of materials (BOMs). Coordinate with outside contractors to ensure timely completion of maintenance work orders. Participate in Job Safety Task Analysis to ensure all jobs are done effectively and safely. What We Seek: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a maintenance role in a manufacturing environment, planning experience preferred. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or other related discipline preferred. High school diploma/GED equivalent required. Motivated and self-directed team player with good interpersonal skills. Experience in the use of a CMMS is required; SAP platform is desired. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience with managing, organizing, and maintaining stock room inventory. Demonstrated understanding of preventative and predictive maintenance practices. Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft required. High focus and emphasis on detail, safety, and quality. Must be able to manage and balance multiple priorities with varying deadlines and ensure effective progression to completion. Excellent team player who demonstrates leadership abilities. Requirements
