About The Position

The Maintenance Planner is responsible for developing, scheduling, and coordinating preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimal downtime. This role serves as the central point of planning between production, engineering, maintenance technicians, and external vendors. Ensure that work orders are clearly defined, resourced, and executed safely and in compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements Develop weekly and monthly maintenance schedules based on production requirements, equipment priorities, and workforce availability Review, prioritize, and convert work requests into well-defined work orders Track work order completion, downtime trends, and backlog levels Identify required labor hours, parts, tools, permits, and documentation for each work order Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize disruption to production operations Order and track parts, materials, and outside contractor services required for maintenance tasks Ensure preventative and predictive maintenance tasks are scheduled per OEM recommendations and internal reliability strategies Assist maintenance manager in developing and optimizing preventative maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance strategies Other duties, as assigned About You: Associates degree or technical certification in industrial maintenance, engineering, or related field, preferred 2-3 years’ experience in industrial maintenance, planning, and/or reliability Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive Basic SAP knowledge Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems used in manufacturing Solid understanding of preventative and predictive maintenance principles Proficient in Microsoft office suite Ability to manage multiple priorities Drive the company culture by aligning and executing Elringklinger’s core values

Requirements

  • 2-3 years’ experience in industrial maintenance, planning, and/or reliability
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive
  • Basic SAP knowledge
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems used in manufacturing
  • Solid understanding of preventative and predictive maintenance principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
