Turner Industries Group, LLC has an opening for a Maintenance Planner to join their team in Norco, LA. This non-exempt role involves preparing complete estimates for assigned projects and determining project plans and specifications.

Requirements

Minimum four (4) years to five (5) years of field experience and/or education in construction technology
Construction planning experience required
Must have Pipe/Mechanical Planner experience
Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills
Able to plan job tasks and job durations into a work schedule
May require Turner qualifications for proprietary software

Responsibilities

Reviews and incorporates historical data from purchase orders, subcontracts, productivity analysis reports, etc. into unit and man-hour figures
Estimates worker-hours and materials required to complete the job
Reviews specifications, drawings, etc. to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate
Prepares estimates by calculating complete takeoff of scope of work
Maintains files of working documents and back-up for estimate figures
Follows contracts as assigned - may include estimating extra work items, change orders, credits, procuring material, etc.
Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction
