About The Position

LIFE, Inc. Provides services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout eastern NC. Our service areas include Roanoke Rapids, Elizabeth City, Edenton, New Bern, Goldsboro, Washington, Wilmington, and Supply.

Requirements

At least 2 years maintenance experience.
Strong knowledge and understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and other areas of maintenance.
Bending, sitting, climbing, laying horizontally, and walking are all required to perform job duties.
Good communication and written skills are required.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Own your own hand tools.
Some computer skills required.
Be able to push 100 lbs. and lift 50 lbs.
Reliable and trustworthy.
Excellent command of the English language(read/write/speak).
Ability to work independently.
Requires ability to work in various weather conditions.
Must be available via cell phone and respond to emergencies in a timely fashion.
Must be multi-tasked, organized, efficient and display ability to function in stressful situations.
Must be able to travel to various areas.
