Maintenance Parts Attendant
About The Position
Maintenance Storeroom Clerk Work with vendors and suppliers on parts sourcing and parts ordering Write and place purchase orders. Complete CapEx paperwork and follow CapEx process. Assist Maintenance Planner to ensure parts availability. Maintain inventory records of all parts room items including safety supplies. Perform physical inventory on a regular basis and ensure accuracy. Issue parts and tools from the storeroom and warehouse. Coordinate with outside vendors on repairs. Organize parts room and supplies, under direction of supervisor. Perform customer service for vendors and employees. Maintain computer database/spreadsheets. Perform data entry of parts room supply information utilizing existing database. Handle miscellaneous parts room duties. Complete all required paperwork. Maintain accuracy of SDS paperwork. Maintain a clean and orderly parts room and warehouse. Continuously perform all required tasks in a safe manner, adhering to all established safety rules and procedures. Must take immediate action to correct and/or report any unsafe conditions and hazards. Follow GMP in compliance with all food safety requirements. Follow all PPE policies, hearing protection, safety glasses, hair nets/beard nets, etc. as required.
