Develops and executes maintenance strategies, manages maintenance teams, oversees budgeting and resource allocation, coordinates preventive maintenance programs, and collaborates with stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective facility operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a distribution/manufacturing environment
  • High school education

Responsibilities

  • Manages day-to-day maintenance and repairs of grounds, exterior structures, buildings, equipment, and related utilities.
  • Assists manager with complex repairs on malfunctioning RX equipment required in order to restore machinery to satisfactory operating conditions.
  • Ensures a safe work environment by eliminating potential equipment safety hazards.
  • Executes emergency plans, and maintains physical preparedness designs to assist and protect employees in emergency situations.
  • Coordinates processes and assignments from the asset management system work orders and ensures entries are completed in a timely manner.
  • Educates team in basic machine maintenance, operational safety, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Directs workflow of maintenance staff and monitors the performance of their assigned responsibilities.
  • Manages operational aspects of the team (e.g., budget, performance, and compliance), and implements workforce and succession plans to meet business needs.
  • Mentors and supports team members, assisting them in their professional growth and skill development.
