About The Position

This position will provide leadership and guidance to ensure customer satisfaction expectations are exceeded. A key focus of the role will be to enforce compliance standards and requirements, while ensuring all customer services are timely, and quality expectations are met for the upcoming launch of our second shift operations.  The OM will be the driver in creating and maintaining a safe work culture with focus on behavioral training and will be a champion of ensuring company KPIs are achieved (Safety, Quality, Cost, Downtime, Productivity, and Employee Engagement).   Department: Outside Consolidation Center (OCC/2CC&3CC) Reports to: Chief of Operations (COO) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2nd Shift (Expected from 2:00 PM-10:30 PM) (Rotating weekends and overtime may be required) (Schedule is subject to change based on production requirements) Location: Onsite, Ellabell, GA 31308 (Must have the ability to commute within the neighboring facilities for meetings, events, etc.)   Please be advised that all 2nd Shift personnel will be trained during 1st Shift hours (6:00 AM-3:00 PM) until transitioning to 2nd Shift hours starting in Spring 2026.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Minimum of 10 years of Operations Management experience in a fast past manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, or distribution environment (preferably in automotive) is required for this role.
  • Proven successful track record leading a large team logistics/manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office with strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • RF scanner and database management system experience such as WMS, SAP, etc.
  • Must maintain relevant certification and take part in recertification based on company Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) management.
  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
  • Shipping, Receiving, Inventory, and Sequencing experience is required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and recognize when and how to effectively collaborate with others.
  • Must be able to direct work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to adapt to change.
  • Must possess strong critical thinking, problem-solving ability, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
  • Kitting and JIT/JIS experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision.
  • Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations.
  • Oversee daily production and provide optimal logistics services to customer.
  • Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements.
  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security.
  • Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system.
  • Prepare and oversee department’s annual budget.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies.
  • Plan work routes, assign tasks appropriately, and appraise results.
  • Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees.
  • Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc.)
  • Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.
  • Other duties as assigned
