About The Position

As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician at Calca Solutions, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of our machinery and equipment. You will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues and conducting repairs to keep our operations running smoothly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or technical degree is a plus
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics and HVAC
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools
• Must be knowledgeable in MS Word and Excel
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
• Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols
• Maintenance of ISO 9000 certifications for the businesses by complying with processes, procedures and instructions for all activities in which this role participates
• Knowledgeable and complies with all pertinent safety policies, rules and regulations

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical equipment and systems
• Diagnose and repair mechanical malfunctions in a timely and efficient manner
• Perform scheduled inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to enhance equipment performance
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Document maintenance and repair activities for record-keeping
• Participate in training to stay updated on industry best practices
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required
