Responsible for all facets of maintenance repair, including those related to plant system instrumentation.Responsible for establishing calibration documentation and ensuring that instrumentation is maintained within the design and set point parameters necessary to function properly. Diagnoses and repairs complex electrical equipment, including motors, switches, switchboards, electrical mechanisms, automated machines, controls, panels, relays, circuit breakers, communication systems and alarms. Responsible for the transfer of technical knowledge as related to the growth and development of the shift maintenance technicians.Responsible for updating and/or red-line changes to technical schematics and documentation to reflect changes made to the equipment.Locate and diagnose failures, replace defective components, and perform basic troubleshooting using standard equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals, and verbal and/or written instructions.Repairs, troubleshoots, corrects and maintains machinery including: centrifugal & diaphragm pumps; mechanical systems; hydraulic and pneumatic problems on all facility and production equipment. Fabricate and repair piping including measure, cut, thread, assemble, and install.Participate in special projects/functions including; formal and hands on technical training for operations and maintenance personnel, emergency and scheduled maintenance coverage, and the development of special written procedures/programs.Support all initiatives and goals established by the plant leadership team.
