About The Position
Join Our Team – Maintenance Mechanic (Third Shift) – Chateaugay, NY Be part of one of the region’s leading dairy cooperatives! We’re seeking a full-time Maintenance Mechanic for Third Shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) to help keep our plant running smoothly and efficiently. Why You’ll Love This Role: Hands-on work across electrical, mechanical, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC/refrigeration, plumbing, and machine/millwright tasks. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant equipment to ensure safe, high-quality operations. Flexible, collaborative environment with opportunities to learn and grow.
Requirements
- Industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills and commitment to safe, accurate repairs
- Knowledge of motors, gearboxes, pumps, pneumatics, and hydraulics
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including overtime, weekends, holidays, and occasional shift rotations
Nice To Haves
- Industrial electrical and welding experience strongly preferred
