This role supports preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to minimize downtime and maintain quality standards. You’ll work collaboratively, reinforcing safety practices and contributing to a clean, organized work environment. Maintenance Mechanic Mesquite, TX / On-Site 3rd Shift: 11:00p- 7:30a, 2 weekend shifts per month Pay: $27.00-$32.00/hr based on experience

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to read technical manuals and interpret schematics.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and plant safety procedures.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

• Technical certification in mechanical or electrical systems.
• Experience with CMMS software.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules, PPE requirements, and lockout/tagout procedures; reinforce with peers.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Diagnose equipment issues and implement cost-effective solutions.
• Operate and maintain forklifts/highboys; complete required training.
• Maintain accurate documentation for repairs, purchases, and inventory.
• Schedule and track maintenance using CMMS to reduce downtime.
• Research and recommend standardized equipment to optimize spare parts.
• Train and mentor maintenance team members.
