What you'll do as a Maintenance Mechanic: Work full-time, Monday through Thursday, 10 to 12-hour shifts. Keep machines running by fixing, adjusting, and maintaining equipment. Perform regular maintenance to prevent breakdowns and keep production on track. Troubleshoot & repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. Fabricate & repair parts when needed to keep things moving. Help with setups and changeovers so production can meet daily goals. Read & follow manuals, guides, and blueprints to complete repairs correctly. Clean, lubricate, & align equipment to make sure everything runs safely and smoothly. Work with your team to maintain a safe, efficient, and high-quality environment. Pitch in where needed to support the crew and get the job done.

Requirements

  • Experienced: 5+ years of experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment (plastics industry preferred). Skilled in metalworking, mechanical work, and basic machinist tasks.
  • Technically Skilled: Able to read blueprints, manuals, and process guides, and perform basic math for measurements and adjustments.
  • Mechanically Strong: Familiar with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, with some welding experience preferred.
  • Reliable & Accountable: Shows up consistently, follows safety standards, and takes pride in doing quality work.
  • Team Player: Works well with others, communicates clearly, and supports a positive, safe work environment.
  • Active: Able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, climb, and stay on the move throughout the shift.
