About The Position

Are you a Jack-Of-All-Trades who can fix anything? Are you looking for a job with lots of variety and reliable hours? Milkco is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic. This position provides on-site maintenance and repair for all aspects of the plant. This includes: Performing maintenance and preventative maintenance on mechanical, electronic and hydraulic systems. This includes packaging equipment, conveyors & production machinery. Ordering & installing new & replacement components as needed. Effective communication with management, including proactive suggestions for continuous improvement. Other general maintenance tasks as directed. The ideal candidate has a background in general maintenance and repair, some electrical experience, and a can-do attitude. Since our equipment is so specialized, you will receive machine-specific training. Please note: This position is full-time, 5 days per week. Exact schedules vary but it does require some weekends, including alternate Saturdays. Milkco will train the right candidate! Milkco, Inc . is a Fluid Milk Plant. We process, bottle, and ship fluid milk, juice, water, fruit flavored drinks, tea, and eggnog. Established in 1982 with 50 employees, the plant has grown to 250+. Requirements

Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening (provided by Milkco).
Will conduct a Criminal Background Check.
Must pass an E-Verify Screening.
Must be able to stand a minimum of 7 ½ hours per day.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 40lbs.
Extended periods of overhead lifting, kneeling, bending, stooping, climbing and other related movements may be required.
Will train the right person.
Prefer that applicants have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must want to work and have excellent attendance.
Need to be cooperative and able to get along with a lot of people.
Must be a team player with the ability to contribute in a team atmosphere
