About The Position

$27.16 - $31.62 per hour depending on experience. $1,000 Retention bonus!! Arconic is currently in search of a Maintenance Mechanic to join our Cranberry Township, PA. location . This position works a 12-hour shift (6p - 6a) on a 2/3/2 pattern. Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States of America.

• Technical degree and/or 5 years' experience

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Identify and look up parts in MP2 maintenance program.
• Use hand tools and other required equipment.
• Troubleshoot independently all types of mechanical equipment, hydraulics, mobile equipment, utilities and basic electrical controls.
• Repair equipment with little documentation.
• Provide improvement to preventative maintenance program by creating task lists.
• Drive root cause analysis and implementation of long term solutions.
• Use a drill press, band saw, lathe, grinder, test gauges, welding, burning and electrical equipment as needed.
• Make recommendations and updates to equipment which result in an improvement to technical downtime.
• Help train maintenance grade 10 employees.
• Effectively communicate with team members, supervisors, and other departments as regarding work accomplishments and findings.
• Participate in L1 meetings, perform safety system requirements, log work hours and comments on work orders in MP2 maintenance software.
