The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a(n) Maintenance Mechanic II you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Inspecting, testing, dismantling machinery/equipment to detect malfunction, discussing machine variations with operators or supervisors to diagnose problem, and then repairing machine. Installing, diagnosing, and repairing electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment as well as pneumatic controls such as valves, cylinders, accumulators, and connections. Performing millwright tasks such as moving equipment, material and machinery using standard methods of lifting, rigging, hoisting, blocking, skidding, and rolling. Operating cutting torch, plasma cutter, or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts as well as using mill, lathe and other shop equipment to fabricate and repair basic machine parts. Repairing and maintaining physical structure of establishment, including snow removal, HVAC and compressed air systems. Also, maintaining preventative maintenance program by cleaning and lubricating shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery central to optimal machine performance. In addition, documenting preventative maintenance activities.

Requirements

  • Possess a H.S. Diploma/GED or higher, completed and verified prior to start
  • Minimum of three (3) years direct Maintenance experience
  • Minimum of four (4) months of experience of Hydraulic & Pneumatic principles.
  • Able to work second shift (1:00pm – 9:00pm) as well as overtime per business need, during the week and/or weekend.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

  • Experience in solving recurring problems through determination of root cause
  • Ability to maintain neat and orderly conditions where you work and promote safe conditions
  • Ability to diagnose Mechanical and Electrical issues as well as read and interpret blueprints.
