About The Position

This role works the 1st Shift (Monday – Friday; 9:00am – 5:00pm) and includes starting pay of $31.00/hour. The impact you’ll make in this role As a Maintenance Mechanic, you’ll be responsible for supporting production operations, ensuring quality standards, and contributing to a safe and efficient plant environment.

Requirements

  • Possess a technical degree in a maintenance field OR
  • Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher AND two (2) years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.

  • Prior experience operating powered lift equipment

  • Ability to work overtime or holidays as needed
  • OSHA 30 Hours Certification
  • Possess knowledge of hand and power tools, fabrication principles, basic welding processes, mechanical symbols and nomenclature, mechanical processes and design standards.
  • Possess computer skills to manage multiple equipment and projects
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Good communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting, repairing and performing preventive maintenance of fork truck, material handling and custodial equipment, both powered and non-powered.
  • Performing general maintenance of facility building and property.
  • Following all safety policies and housekeeping guidelines to ensure a neat, clean, efficient and safe work environment (may include possible hazardous material spill cleanup).
  • Working closely with engineering groups and outside vendors to assist with fork truck and material handling equipment design and debugging.
  • Attending meetings and training as required both internal and external of the plant site.
  • Possessing the ability to clearly speak, understand, and write in English to communicate effectively in both verbal and written contexts.
