About The Position

Your Role: This position is responsible for a wide range of facility maintenance and maintenance mechanic activities in support of Plant Operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee daily facility operations as instructed by the Facilities Supervisor/Manager. Provide guidance to lower-level maintenance mechanics for tasks assigned by the Facilities Manager. Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of all building systems (HVAC, boilers, chillers, air compressors, water systems, etc.) Ensure the timely completion of work orders. Plan preventative maintenance, repair and work order activities with internal staff. Make recommendations to improve the functionality of equipment and systems. Support manufacturing operations with afterhours coverage (on call). Perform work in laboratories, offices, cleanrooms and mechanical spaces. Oversees contractors as required. Use the building automation system for monitoring, trending, and alarm response. Perform other trade duties such as plumbing and carpentry. Maintain all GMP documentation as required. Interact with all levels of internal staff. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma and a minimum of 8+ years of experience working in GMP Facilities.
  • Maintenance.
  • Must have working knowledge and experience with Good Documentation Practices.
  • Requires knowledge and experience with electrical/mechanical systems repair, maintenance and installation.
  • Experience with the operation of PLC and BMS systems.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
