About The Position

As a Maintenance Mechanic IV, you will perform a variety of work to maintain paint shop and process line machines, mechanical equipment, and the structure of our facilities. Duties may involve machine installation, calibration, and repair as well as general facility maintenance.

Requirements

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, and plumbing.
• Knowledge of PLC’s: Ladder logic, Rack layout and PLC wiring, and/or I/O
• Prior experience working in a hazardous chemical environment

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and repairs of mechanical, electrical, equipment, facility and PLC’s.
• Troubleshoot and repair electronic, PLC and mechanical problems on paint booths and automated process line equipment.
• Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs facility mechanical components and electrical systems.
• Performs machine repair and general preventative maintenance on equipment in compliance with preventative maintenance programs.
• Provides support in the development and implementation of facility and equipment upgrades.
• Maintains all paperwork to document repair and preventative maintenance work completed.
• Complies with SOP’s (standard operating procedures), internal requirements, manufacturer’s specifications, and safety policies.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
