We are looking to add an experienced Maintenance Mechanic III to join our talented team at our Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin Ingredients Production Facility! This role will be responsible for keeping critical production systems running smoothly — from precision mixing tanks and pumps to clean-in-place systems and instrumentation.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of maintenance experience in a processing or manufacturing environment (food, beverage, or chemical/ingredient preferred).
  • Technical degree or certification in Electro-Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Maintenance.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills — both electrical and mechanical.
  • Comfort working in a non-conveyor process environment (fermenters, centrifuges, pumps, tanks, pipe systems).
  • Team-oriented, safety-focused, and self-motivated.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with sanitary systems (a plus).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical systems used in ingredient processing.
  • Work with PLCs, motor controls, VFDs, and process sensors (temperature, flow, pressure, etc.).
  • Calibrate instruments such as pressure, temperature, pH, and flow sensors to ensure accurate control and data collection in the fermentation process.
  • Support utility systems: boiler operations and steam distribution, compressed air systems, ammonia refrigeration, and HVAC systems.
  • Support equipment installations and upgrades.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of processing equipment, including fermenters, centrifuges, pumps, agitators, heat exchangers, and CIP (Clean-in-Place) systems.to reduce downtime and improve system reliability.
  • Read schematics and P&IDs to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and QA teams in a clean, regulated environment.
  • Log maintenance activities using CMMS.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, GMP, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Other duties in support of company objectives
