About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and machinery. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions. Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently to support plant operations. Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal plant performance and uptime. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inspections.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of maintenance and repair of diesel-powered mobile and stationary equipment with demonstrated mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with industrial tools, welding, and fabrication techniques.
  • Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and operational needs.
  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, climb, bend, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) in a physically demanding environment.
  • Must be able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions for extended periods.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required, including hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed boots.
