Creamland Dairy has an immediate job opening for a skilled plant maintenance mechanic, responsible for the care and maintenance of all property and production assets. This position ensures the continued operation of machinery and equipment in an electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, pneumatic and hydraulic capacity by completing planned and unplanned maintenance requirements on production, packaging, processing equipment and utility systems. The role requires demonstrating full proficiency in maintenance/mechanical activities to ensure that all equipment is operating effectively and efficiently. This includes performing general maintenance, preventative maintenance, over-hauls, modification, fabrication, welding, and/or mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair. The Maintenance Mechanic II will work with a limited degree of supervision, with oversight focused on complex and/or new assignments, and will act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience.
