Maintenance II - CNC Diagnostics and Maintenance
About The Position
The Maintenance Mechanic performs building maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment. Repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment such as pneumatic tools, HVAC equipment, production machines and equipment. Maintenance Mechanic II will: The Maintenance Mechanic II performs skilled repairs and upgrades on equipment, executes preventative maintenance tasks, and helps manage the spare parts inventory and work order system. This role supports equipment reliability and up time by diagnosing issues and ensuring maintenance procedures are effectively followed. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.
Requirements
- High School Degree or GED preferred. 5 years of previous industrial maintenance experience performing basic maintenance repairs including plumbing, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical under daily supervision
- Experience in CNC diagnostics and maintenance is strongly preferred
Nice To Haves
- Experience reading, understanding, and following wiring schematics
- Experience repairing numerical control machines like CNC machines, ply cutters, and ultrasonic inspection systems
- Experience with compressed air systems
- An understanding of autoclaves, pressure vessels, and gas fired batch equipment
- Familiarity with the use and maintenance of various pneumatic hand tools
- Experience with basic metal fabrication, cutting and welding
- Working knowledge of dust collection equipment, HVAC, walk-in freezers and hydraulic systems
- Experience troubleshooting PLC controls
