Looking for a job in the Amarillo, Texas? We are currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for our 3rd shift Maintenance Department. We're currently hiring Maintenance Mechanic for 3rd shift schedule starting 10:00pm Monday-Friday (occasional overtime). SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY: Responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing production, building and facilities equipment. This position is intended to encompass the training period in preparation for the Maintenance Mechanic 2 position.

Responsibilities

Ability to adjust equipment for products to be run, including baggers, scales, cheese cutter, labelers, sealers and all manufacturing related equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair minor breakdowns.
Perform preventive maintenance.
Maintain company buildings and facilities.
Understand the operation of the equipment and how to adjust it.
Know how to safely use shop and hand tools.
Have an understanding of mechanical/light electrical operation of equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
