About The Position

The Maintenance Manager directs and coordinates departmental activities to repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment within the Extrusion Blow Molding Department. You play an integral role in upholding Plastipak’s standard of excellence and helping exceed customer expectations.

Requirements

Minimum of five years of manufacturing maintenance leadership
Plastics industry experience required; extrusion blow or injection molding preferred
Ability to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation, working weekends & evenings as needed
Proven track record of shaping a high-performance maintenance program
Ability to develop and operate effectively within established budgets
Experience contributing to ongoing continuous improvement
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with peers, management, and vendor representatives

Responsibilities

Lead associates in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance repairs
Develop and coordinate preventative maintenance programs and schedules
Ensure the maintenance department has the training, processes & procedures in place to effectively maintain, repair, and install extrusion blow molding machinery and equipment
Contribute to the site’s cross-functional achievement of cost, delivery, quality, and reliability goals
Foster positive team engagement and a culture of TPM, GMP, and safety
