SUMMARY: The Maintenance Manager position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of maintenance functions to include production, maintenance, refrigeration and PSM maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field AND 7+ years of experience in engineering, refrigeration, or maintenance management
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – written and verbal
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines
• Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
• Supervisory experience

Responsibilities

• Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.
• Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
• Ensure the plant utilities are being used in an efficient and economical manner to include water, steam, and electricity.
• Ensure effective training and development of the maintenance team members.
• Assist in the development and management of the plant maintenance budget.
• Promote maintenance best practices to increase equipment reliability and reduce maintenance cost.
• Act as project manager on capital and maintenance expenditure projects to ensure proper project scope development, equipment specifications, equipment selection, costing, planning, scheduling installation, and start up.
• Ensure work orders are completed in a timely, thorough, and accurate manner; provide maintenance management with information, materials, and training to enable them to produce high quality work.
• Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and sanitation policies.
