The Maintenance Manager supervises the maintenance, repair, installation and upkeep of all equipment and facilities. The main duties include planning the maintenance/repair/install operations for both daily, weekly, and longer periods; scheduling the periodic maintenance (PM) to minimize the impact on production; making decisions about priorities in the face of known issues (maintenance), large capital projects (e.g., new equipment or facility improvements), and surprises (e.g., broken equipment that can stop a manufacturing line). The Manager leads the maintenance team at our Lancaster, SC location. The Manager keeps the company in compliance with various registered systems and the related compliance audits that cross into the maintenance arena. As a leader within The Warn Group, the Maintenance Manager works independently and collaboratively with other teams across the organization. Additionally, the Maintenance Manager coordinates within all divisions of The Warn Group concerning maintenance plans and related facility and planning activities. The Maintenance Manager provides leadership for plant and facilities maintenance, environmental compliance, quality systems compliance electricians and electrical systems, and production support teams. They strive to meet internal and external customer requirements and expectations in terms of production, maintenance, repairs, and problem solving. As the leader, the Manager also develops and manages the budget for the department and participates in the annual budgeting and capital expenditure planning process. Accountability for maintenance team performance resides with the Manager and s/he must accomplish team objectives through team leadership and development.
