About The Position

Ergon Midstream is seeking a Maintenance Manager to be based in Marietta, Ohio. The Maintenance Manager will manage and oversee the maintenance operations, asset preservation, and technical teams across the EML facilities or properties . Responsible for focusing on high-level strategy, multi-site compliance, and mentoring on-site leaders to ensure consistent service standards across our entire region. Monitor maintenance activities across Ergon Midstream shop locations to ensure operational excellence and asset longevity. Ensure all shops comply with DOT regulations on equipment maintenance. Monitor and ensure all shops are keeping proper maintenance records on all equipment. Develop and implement regional maintenance programs, standard operating procedures, and long -term capital improvement plans. Recruit, train, and coach on-site Maintenance Managers and technicians. Act as a technical expert for complex repairs and handle performance management for the region's staff. Collaborate with regional leadership to create and manage maintenance budgets, track expenditures, and negotiate contracts with vendors to maximize economies of scale. Enforce adherence to OSHA regulations, local health and safety codes, and company policies. Identify, vet, and manage regional vendors and subcontractors for specialized services or large-scale capital projects. Focus on achieving company goals, market volume targets, and efficient utilization of technicians and equipment. Operational oversight of terminal shops, leadership, training and mentorship. Frequent travel to all terminal shops as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership and management experience
  • Previous Experience in maintenance management
  • Strong understanding of business operations, finance, and customers
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • High levels of Trust, Humility, Character, Integrity, Resolve, and Respect
  • Requires a self-motivated person that pays attention to details with excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain a harmonious relationship with facility personnel

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities to achieve goals
  • Minimum HS Diploma
  • 5-10 years of progressive leadership in transportation or maintenance, preferably in multi-site operations
  • Must have a company cell phone and be available for work related calls as needed
  • Willingness to travel regionally up to 25%-50% of the time to visit terminals and customer sites as needed
