About The Position

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations within the manufacturing facility to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency. This role leads the maintenance team in performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance while minimizing equipment downtime and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5–10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Experience managing maintenance teams and coordinating maintenance schedules.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CMMS systems (SAP PM, Maximo, Fiix, etc.)
  • Lean Manufacturing, TPM, or Six Sigma experience
  • Knowledge of automation, robotics, PLC troubleshooting, and industrial controls
  • OSHA safety training or certification

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise the maintenance team, including technicians and support staff.
  • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all plant equipment.
  • Ensure timely troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize disruption to production schedules.
  • Maintain compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, including labor, parts, and equipment costs.
  • Maintain spare parts inventory and ensure the availability of critical components.
  • Oversee installation, commissioning, and upgrades of new equipment and machinery.
  • Analyze equipment performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Develop and maintain maintenance documentation, SOPs, and equipment records.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure proper training and development of maintenance personnel.
  • Enforce plant safety policies, including lockout/tagout procedures.
