About The Position

Revolution is looking for a results-oriented Maintenance Manager to join our team in the Flint, MI area! This strategic role is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and reliability of all production and facility equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations. The Maintenance Manager will lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs, manage repair activities, support capital improvement projects, and drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment uptime and process optimization. Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering is strongly preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in plant maintenance or engineering, with a proven track record in managing maintenance operations and reliability teams.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues. Familiarity with extrusion technology or blown film equipment is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and manage maintenance and reliability teams effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong commitment to continuous improvement and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to troubleshoot various issues and program PLCs and Drives (Allen Bradley, ABB, Siemens, Honeywell, etc.) is a plus.
  • Experience with Metric driven reliability preferred.
  • Positive, results-oriented with a focus on achieving operational goals and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Engage operations to determine critical priorities and ensure the Maintenance group is meeting these priorities.
  • Lead the Maintenance group in evaluating inadequacies of system design and presenting modifications to management for approval and support in implementing the approved changes.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities related to the maintenance department, the plant, and its processes.
  • Provides strategic leadership for defining and executing the Plant and Maintenance Department's vision, objectives, strategies, and metrics.
  • Supervise maintenance technician team including preparation of maintenance personnel evaluations and management of call-in schedule.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of predictive and preventative maintenance programs necessary to support asset availability effectively.
  • Maintain spare parts/supplies inventory and budget as well as equipment history files.
  • Lead the overall training and development of the maintenance group.
  • Act as a technical resource to the plant leadership team.
  • Promote plant safety and ensure regulatory compliance.
