Coordinates the operations of all power-generating equipment, including reactor(s), reactor plant support systems, (e.g., fuel handling, radioactive waste disposal), secondary plant systems , and pumps, electrical breaker connections to the system, main turbines, generators, and associated auxiliary equipment. The Plant Operations group includes the Plant Operations Team, Plant Maintenance and Plant Support. Specialty: Plant Maintenance Maintains nuclear power plant systems, equipment and structures in accordance with NRC (Nuclear Regulatory Commission) regulations. Ensures that equipment performs reliably and at an optimum level through effective implementation of corrective, preventative and productive programs and procedures. Analyzes equipment breakdowns, determines the proper corrective action, and directs repairs according to procedures. Evaluates recurring maintenance problems and devises procedures for solution. Review and revises maintenance procedures.
