About The Position

As the Maintenance Manager, you will lead the maintenance and electrical teams to ensure equipment reliability, plant efficiency, and safe operations. You’ll drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs, oversee work planning, and support operational success through hands‑on leadership and team development.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, including supervisory responsibilities
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lead teams and achieve results through others in a production environment
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and maintenance systems

  • Two‑year technical or college degree
  • Maintenance‑related certifications
  • Welding knowledge
  • Experience working in a unionized environment
  • Strong planning, communication, mentoring, and problem‑solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead day‑to‑day supervision of maintenance and electrical teams in a safe, compliant environment
  • Plan, schedule, and prioritize maintenance work, including inspections and break‑in work
  • Ensure accurate work order management, documentation, and reporting
  • Support and enhance preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and guide the team through technical challenges
  • Analyze equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement long‑term corrective actions
  • Manage maintenance budgets, cost controls, materials ordering, and spare‑parts oversight
  • Participate in daily maintenance meetings and collaborate closely with operations
  • Oversee contract workers and support shutdown maintenance planning
