In partnership with the Plant Manager, the Maintenance Manager is responsible for the maintenance of the facility, including the understanding of and ability to explain the basic mechanical theory to team members, coordinating vendors, and establishing preventative maintenance programs while ensuring all equipment remains properly maintained and operational. Supporting the maintenance team by explaining mechanical theory, guiding daily activities, and ensuring all members adhere to OSHA safety standards and SOPs. Lead plant operations and workforce planning to ensure budgetary goals and production requirements are met or advanced. Ideally, you will ensure products meet or advance QC standards while overseeing process improvement and Quality efforts (Six Sigma Lean). Oversee and contribute to special projects, plant improvements, and the maintenance of all facility equipment including pumps, compressors, and bulk tanks. Interview, hire, and coach employees according to corporate guidelines, focusing on associate development, safety training, and performance evaluations. Coordinating shift scheduling, purchase orders, spare parts inventory, and accurate data entry for purchasing and raw materials. We value flexibility for on-call needs, including the ability to support the facility during occasional late-night calls or weekend visits.
