About The Position

Our Maintenance Manager II is responsible for supervising and planning the execution of cost‑effective and timely maintenance necessary for the operation of all equipment processes required by the Processing, Maintenance, and Refrigeration departments. This includes directing, coordinating, and supporting maintenance supervisors and personnel; working with contractors, vendors, or company engineering in the modification or installation of equipment; and troubleshooting and resolving new and/or complex technical problems regarding equipment and processes. Our Maintenance Manager II is also responsible for efficiently managing and maintaining highly automated systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and robotics. Other responsibilities include coordinating and maintaining the maintenance training program for Maintenance Team Members; assisting in preparing and overseeing budgets; coordinating Team Member work schedules; ensuring all parts and assets necessary to perform maintenance are available and maintained; providing information for managerial decision‑making; and performing other responsibilities as the need arises.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) preferred.
  • 5 plus years of related industrial maintenance experience, including in a supervisory capacity.
  • Good working knowledge of computers and various software programs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to direct the workforce with clear and precise instructions.
  • Knowledgeable in the operation and maintenance of refrigeration systems, electrical systems, boiler systems, water treatment systems, hydraulic systems, and packaging systems, as well as a general understanding of wastewater systems.
  • Strong understanding of production processes and procedures.
  • Demonstrates sound judgment; able to make effective decisions; strong organizational skills; ability to accept and delegate responsibility.
