About The Position

Machinist 8 Hour Day shift-Monday through Friday Job Duties: (include but not limited to) Read blueprints to determine what equipment and materials are necessary for the job Follow the blueprints to create the appropriate tools and components Operate machines to grind, cut, and polish the materials Finish projects using manual tools Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure they remain in good working order

Requirements

• Machinist vocational certificate or completed industry apprenticeship
• Manual dexterity
• Lathe machining experience
• Milling machine experience
• Surface grinder experience
• Blueprinting reading skills
• Proficient with measuring tools

Nice To Haves

• Prior roles as a lathe operator or in another manual machining position is a plus
