About The Position

Supervises and performs all phases of general, aesthetic, and preventive maintenance within specific guidelines. Responsible for the completion of tasks and projects related to the systematic preventive inspection, detection, and correction of incipient failures of equipment or facilities either before they occur or before they develop into major defects. This position is responsible for assisting with determining the need, scheduling tasks, assigning technicians to tasks, and performing tasks including the replacement of filters, belts, lights, intake screens, seals, and other items; the lubrication, preservation, and servicing of equipment; the inspection and diagnosis of information contributing to preventive and predictive maintenance scheduling; accurate collection, and the entry, and analysis of information. This position will assist the Zone Supervisor in ensuring that requests for work are accurately translated to service requests and that the work is assessed, allocated, and accomplished appropriately. This position will be expected to interact with customers and other employees in a professional manner that enhances work effectiveness for the zone preventive maintenance crew. Must be available 24/7 by personal cell phone to support daily operations and respond to campus emergencies, as well as periodic on-call rotations on weekends and after hours.
