About The Position

The Maintenance Lead / Supervisor is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and installing HVAC and related equipment while providing day-to-day coordination of projects to ensure contractual commitments are met. This position emphasizes technical maintenance expertise with secondary supervisory responsibilities, including supporting team operations and ensuring service quality standards.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of HVAC or mechanical technician experience preferred.
  • At least 1 years of experience supervising employees.
  • MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) proficiency required.
  • Valid Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record is required to operate company vehicles to and from customer work sites.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to give effective presentations to small and large groups.
  • Resourceful team player with a positive outlook and approachable demeanor.

  • Experience with commercial cleaning industry is a big plus.
  • Experience effectively managing teams: solid staff retention, counseling and developing team members, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC systems and related equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of technical knowledge, equipment status, and service reports.
  • Manage workload and job scheduling to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding service updates and feedback.
  • Provide technical training and guidance to team members and clients as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, PPE usage, and OSHA requirements.
  • Assist in planning and assigning work schedules for janitorial and maintenance staff.
  • Support team performance by reporting issues to the Supervisor and providing leadership when needed.
  • Train staff on ABM protocols, including cleaning methods, equipment operation, and security procedures.
  • Monitor timekeeping entries and ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Serve as point-of-contact for client liaisons to confirm quality standards and resolve service issues.
