The role involves managing and maintaining the computerized maintenance inventory system for parts and supplies, optimizing inventory, coordinating purchasing, and collaborating with various teams to ensure timely availability of critical parts.

Requirements

  • 5 year minimum industrial / manufacturing storeroom experience.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate skill level using Microsoft Office - Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP CMMS preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the computerized maintenance inventory system for parts and supplies.
  • Analyze usage, lead times, and stock levels to optimize inventory, reduce costs, and prevent stockouts.
  • Coordinate purchasing of spare parts, consumables, and equipment-related items to support maintenance operations.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to ensure timely availability of critical parts.
  • Track and issue inventory against work orders to support accurate cost control and reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for standardization, organization, and inventory process efficiency.
