About The Position

Position Purpose We are seeking a detail-oriented Maintenance Inventory Coordinator to join our team. This role provides essential support to plant operations and the maintenance team through effective stockroom inventory control and the receipt of materials, services, supplies, and equipment. You will work closely with the Maintenance Team Leader to manage and forecast budgetary limits and goals while ensuring spare parts inventory is organized and maintained across the facility. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate inventory control through organization, audits, and monitoring. Bin and kit parts in collaboration with planners, schedulers, and maintenance partners. Receive parts and accurately label them with Schreiber part numbers. Partner with the Team Leader to monitor and manage budgetary targets. Organize and oversee spare parts inventory throughout the facility. Collaborate with leaders and team members to uphold Food Safety and Partner Safety standards. Follow all standard operating procedures relevant to the role. Perform required PCP (Prerequisite Program) and CCP (Critical Control Point) checks. Respond to any Food Safety, Food Quality, or customer requirement deviations per established reaction plans.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Maintenance and/or production experience beneficial.
  • Previous inventory experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Oracle/eAM or other CMMS systems helpful.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Effective communication skills (oral and written).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical parts.
  • Ability to operate powered material handling equipment (forklift certification required).
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
  • This position requires candidates to qualify using tests General Computer Literacy 2 (70%), and Outlook 2016 (50%).

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience managing inventory and analyzing parts usage is a big plus.
  • Above-average proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is essential.
  • Experience in maintenance or production environments is beneficial.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects while keeping everything accurate and on track.
  • Familiarity with Oracle/eAM or other computerized maintenance management systems is helpful.
  • You’ll need to work with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with your team.
