Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2-5 years of managing inventory, warehouse, or storeroom experience (manufacturing or maintenance environment preferred)
  • Basic mechanical or maintenance parts knowledge strongly preferred
  • Experience with CMMS or inventory software a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift 30- 50 lbs and work in an industrial environment
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft suites - Excel, & inventory systems)
  • Time management and multitasking
  • Clear communication with maintenance and operations teams
  • Problem-solving and proactive planning
  • Safety-focused mindset
  • Visual acuity suitable for detailed work.
  • Ability to lift 50-75 lbs., floor to shoulder, occasionally and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels of maintenance parts, tools, and supplies
  • Receive, inspect, label, and properly store incoming maintenance materials
  • Issue parts and supplies to maintenance technicians and document usage
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate recorders to prevent shortages or overstock
  • Conduct routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory stocking
  • Maintain inventory records in CMMS or inventory management systems
  • Coordinate with vendors and purchasing on parts availability and lead times
  • Identify obsolete, damaged, or slow-moving inventory and report findings
  • Ensure storeroom organization, cleanliness, and safety compliance
  • Support maintenance planning by staging parts for scheduled work orders
  • Follow all plant safety, quality, and environmental policies
