Location: 221 Phil Meador Ave, Pocatello, ID 83202. Essential Duties and Responsibilities     Project Details:     We are   seeking   a detail-oriented and proactive intern to join the Maintenance Team this summer. The ideal candidate will gain hands-on experience while supporting maintenance and reliability initiatives within a food manufacturing plant, with a focus on Preventive Maintenance (PM) optimization and maintenance task improvement. The intern will help refine maintenance tasks to improve effectiveness, efficiency, and alignment with food safety requirements. Review and optimize Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks for production and packaging equipment. Ensure PM content aligns with food safety and regulatory requirements. Support maintenance troubleshooting and basic Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities. Observe maintenance workflows and document standard practices. Assist with updates and data entry in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Ability to observe processes and identify improvement opportunities. Interest in maintenance, reliability, or manufacturing operations. Basic mechanical or electrical aptitude. Comfort learning CMMS or maintenance tracking systems. Requirements
